Hello, I'm Ekta!

I’m a UX Researcher based in San Francisco, but my story started in the busy streets of India. Along the way, I discovered a love for understanding people and how they connect with technology, which led me to move out of my Software Engineering role and earn two Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from Carnegie Mellon University. This shift wasn't just a career move; it was a discovery of my true calling.

For over a decade, I’ve been driven by the goal of uncovering the “why” behind people’s actions and using those insights to shape experiences that feel natural, intuitive, and meaningful.

Outside of work, I’m happiest experimenting in the kitchen, playing with photos in Lightroom, or exploring the great outdoors. And if you ever want to swap ideas or stories, I’ll never say no to a good cup of coffee.​
